An escaped prisoner who persuaded his girlfriends to hire cars he used in a string of break-ins is back in prison.
Romeo-style criminal Jason Hatton duped his lovers and friends into providing the wheels he used in raids across the West Midlands.
He was jailed for six years in 2014 after admitting six burglaries - but escaped from prison while serving a different sentence imposed for a number of other offences.
Now Hatton is back behind bars after his car was spotted in Alcester and he was arrested.
He was handed a new sentence of five years and seven months at Warwick Crown Court after pleading guilty to committing five burglaries in Stratford-upon-Avon and Knowle.
Hatton, of Giles Close, Stechford, also admitted charges of driving while disqualified and breaching a restraining order.

Warwickshire Police said the 43-year-old previously escaped from HMP Sudbury in Derbyshire.
He was serving a three-year, eight-month sentence for harassment, common assault, threats to kill, and two counts of dangerous driving.
Whilst on the run, he burgled four addresses in Stratford.
Officers rushed to Alcester and found his car, which fled the scene.

He was stopped further down the road and was arrested.
Police Offender Management Unit said: "Hatton has caused a lot of misery to the residents of Stratford.
"Local people can sleep more comfortably now he is behind bars."
Hatton used to be called David but changed his name while serving an earlier burglary sentence - thinking officers would not be able to trace him.
