Here are some top tips that should point you in the right direction on your quest for the best euro and pound exchange.

When buying euros you don’t have to stick to the old age ways of exchanging your money.
You can use comparison tools like MoneySavingExpert’s TravelMoneyMax to compare rates and check broadly what the market is doing.
Getting your euros from local bureaus may also be a good shout, as independent stores may offer better deals than those with bigger names.
While you’re shopping around you could check your local Post Office and supermarkets like Marks and Spencer, which also offer the service.
As long as you look around you’re likely to find varying rates, so pick the best one out of the bunch and you should be on your way.

Cash Euros To Pounds
This may be because they have a “captive market” and know you will be desperate for any rate. So don’t all into that trap.
Make sure to plan ahead or face losing out on money, by literally selling yourself and time short.
Your usual debit and credit cards issued by most UK banks carry hefty fees on both cash withdrawals and purchases abroad – typically a 2.75-4.5 per cent “transaction fee”.
And that’s before taking into account the variable APR interest added to all credit-card transactions if you don’t pay your bill in full each month.
However there are some banks that are exceptions to this rule, such as Starling Bank.
Starling doesn’t charge you for using your money abroad, and uses the Mastercard exchange rate.
But keep in mind you need to have enough money in your account to cover your spending.
You may also want to check out Monzo, another app-only bank.
Firstly, it doesn’t charge fees for purchases abroad and also allows £200 of withdrawals abroad per month before it starts charging a 3 per cent fee.
