With three out of the first four games of the season being home contests (Dallas Cowboys, Cincinnati Bengals, and New York Giants) , Carolina Panthers fans will have plenty of time to admire the logo.
I totally get why the Carolina Panthers never wanted to put a team logo at midfield. It was appropriate to pay respects to the league that allowed you to have a team. If anything, having the NFL shield made the Carolina Panthers a bit unique. As
of 247Sports notes, only the Giants and Jets have the shield at midfield, as they both share the same stadium.
The logo is going to look pretty cool if the design on Madden is any indication. If nothing else it will add to the gameday experience and truly make Bank of America Stadium feel complete.
The timing of the logo announcement seems very fitting as the Carolina Panthers boast a new-look roster themselves. It will be interesting to see when and how the organization decides to make the announcement as a new era of Carolina Panthers football unfolds.
