) - A superior court is hearing a request for an injunction to stop plans for a $10 million study on electronic highway tolls.
The request was filed by State Senator Joe Markley, who also happens to be the Republican nominee for Lieutenant Governor.
Last month, the State Bonding Commission gave the the controversial study, that was proposed by Governor Dannel Malloy, the green light.

The study will look at things like where tolls could be placed and possible rates.
