Israel cuts down the visa fee to INR 1,100 for Indian travellers
In a bid to strengthen its relationship with India, the Israel government has reduced the visa to INR 1, 100 from INR 1 Kwd To Inr ,700 for Indian travellers. The revised fee is applicable on the B2 visa category, which means the it is for people travelling visit is for business, meeting/conference or tourism purpose. As per the statistics, in past three years, the number of Indian tourists has gone up tremendously.
Hassan Madah, said Kwd To Inr , Israel Ministry of Tourism said Kwd To Inr (India & Philippines), said, “We are happy to announce the reduction in visa fees for Indian travellers with immediate effect. I am confident that this move will encourage more people to choose Israel as a holiday destination and boost inbound numbers from India.”
He mentioned that with the introduction of Fast Track visa processing few months back, Israel experienced a tremendous boost in travel industry and now he is quite confident that the reduced visa application fee will only help raise these numbers.
Madah also informed that last year (2017) has been the best in terms of Indian travellers, wherein number of visitors from India was nearly 60,000, which is actually huge. With numbers going up this fast Kwd To Inr , Israel is hoping to hit a target of one lakh in 2018.
Besides, the country is also working hard to introduce e-visa processing to ease the group visa process.
