Dash formerly known as Darkcoin and XCoin has partnered up with Kripto Mobile Corp (KRIP) to upgrade itself in the cryptocurrency world of Latin America. The announcement of the partnership between the cryptocurrency company and the mobile company was at the Dash Caracas conference in Venezuela.

KRIP has established itself as a cryptocurrency enabled mobile phone, and do Dash’s ecosystem will be preloaded into the system.  KRIPS phone has a cryptocurrency wallet, along with applications such as Bitrefill to spend the cryptocurrency.

Bradley Zastrow, head of global business development at Dash Core Group said that “…cryptocurrencies have the potential to affect real change, especially for people experiencing hyperinflation where cryptocurrency is less volatile.”

Zastrow even spoke about KRIP’s compatibility-

“What makes the KRIP phone so unique, beyond being a great smartphone at a good price, is that it makes this user experience a central part of using a cell phone. The critical element to moving to mainstream is the need for removing the friction that exists today with the cryptocurrency experience. We’re doing that with the KRIP phones.”

The partnership means Latin Americans can now make transactions in the luxury and convenience of just their mobile phones, Latin Americans can spend, send and receive cryptocurrencies. Fiat currency transfers tend to be time consuming and expensive in terms of fees.
